Returning to the blog, 10 month overview

I'd like to start off by apologizing for our absence. We have been very busy traveling, working, exploring and meeting all kinds of new folks along the way. The blog will now be morphing into just that, more of a blog, rather than a chronological timeline of our adventures day to day.

(southernmost point; Key West, FL)

I'll begin with a general overview of our travels over the past 10 months, then go into much more detail about the individual trips and lessons learned along the road in other entries as we go. There will be blog entries about ways to travel, food, entertainment and tips and tricks for traveling as well.

Being I already have your attention, I'll begin the 10 month overview now. We left off headed to the Florida keys to vend the big pine key flea market. We did exactly that and met some amazing folks there, that welcomed us to stay on property with Alice in the future. I'm looking forward to writing the Florida keys food and entertainment blog entries to come.

We then ventured north through mainland Florida, stopping for a few festivals and skoolie meetups along the way.

(our vending setup at music festivals)

We delivered a customized djembe drum to a dear friend in Kentucky, drank some Bourbons and explored the parks before continuing through Ohio and into Michigan for festivals along the way.

(Fort Boonsborough State Park, KY)

We toured Michigan's upper peninsula for a few weeks hunting for rocks and whitefish sandwiches along the coast of lake superior. Meeting up with 136 other rigs at a skoolie gathering up there.

(Lake Superior)

After the upper peninsula we traveled the coast of the great lakes back toward New York and as far east as Massachusetts and Connecticut for the fall festival season.

(Chimney Bluffs State Park, NY ; Lake Ontario)

We plan to be making regular blog entries going into all kinds of details and stories we have discovered on the road full time for more than one year now. Follow Alice_the_skoolie on all social medias for more. Thanks for tuning back in.
