Days 25, 26 & 27 - Plant City & St. Pete

We packed up on day 25 to move to our new location in Plant City.  We had a short 2 hour drive so it was a leisurely pack up for a change.

Along the way we found the cutest little French bakery out in the middle of nowhere!  Michelle saw sign, hit the brakes hard and did a quick turn into the parking lot!

The inside of the bakery was a combination antique store and heavenly baked goods.  Walking in, there was the delicious smell of baking bread, and the cases were full of crispy croissants and other pastries.   We ended up with a loaf of garlic sourdough bread, a Bavarian cream eclair, spinach and ricotta croissant, almond croissant, and a walnut cream swirl.  Sadly the baked goods didn’t last long enough for a picture.  We did get one picture of the eclair.

We looked up a dog beach to take Sunshine for a walk and found this cool dog beach in Pass A Grill.  We spent a little time walking around the area, found a nice crafters market and took down the information on how to get involved, then had a bite to eat and some pina coladas at Hurricane Seafood.

After lunch we headed to Cage Brewery which was recommended by our friend Steve.  We were lucky enough to get there in time to watch an electric violin musician preform.  It was pretty amazing stuff!

Carmen has been busy carving and making these cast iron pan holders to sell online and at markets in February.  We have them for sale through PayPal here.

Michelle has been busy making crocheted sunhats with cotton yarn.  Here’s a couple of her new designs.

Thanks for tuning in!   We will be at this location for a few more days so watch for our next day trip to Clearwater.
