Day 23 a trip to Juniper Springs, FL
After a high 30's temperature night. We got up, had coffee and breakfast, and worked on crochet and leather until just after noon. During this time one of the campground neighbors and her husband enjoyed riding bicycles around the small loop of the camp ground. This sends them right by our camp site about every 60 seconds for a about 7 laps. Carmen decided after they passed the first time to put on a funny hat for their next pass. Then we switched hats and acted like nothing had happened. Still working away on our projects. This went on over and over until Carmen had completely gone through every item of clothing he had brought to make for a new complete outfit each time they passed. It was a good laugh to say the least.
An old conservation Corp fireplace. It's a shame these don't get any restoration or maintenance.
After our shenanigans were complete and our projects completed, or at a good stopping point, we hit the road to go for a swim.
Not far away is the beautiful state park of Juniper Springs, FL. We arrived and we're greeted by the crystal clear again 72° F water. We wandered around the parks trails and what was available for exploration (most of the trails were closed). We snuck sunshine into the day use area so Carmen could have a swim (no dogs allowed in day use area, aka the swimming hole area).

Pretty little sunshine enjoying her ride. Because dogs were not allowed in the park, we put her in the backpack for a quick hike after checking with security to make sure it was ok.
Tomorrow is a trip to St. Augustine. Thanks for tuning in!
Omg..the spring is beautiful. I'm so envious. Love the joke with "clothes swap out" for bike riding neighbors!!! Ha ha. Mom
