Day 2 NC to FL

 After a great night's sleep, we hit the road again this time a little later than planned. Being behind schedule didn't stop us from checking out the famous south of the border, as we entered into South Carolina. We found a fun purchase in hats of the world and admired some statues around the property.

Shortly there after we approached lunch time. What better to dig into in South Carolina than some finger licking BBQ. We stopped in Manning, SC at JK's house of ribs for some top notch grub. Even bearing leftovers for $25 and change, so the prices were very fair, as you see the meal was not portion shy. 

After sucking our fingers clean and a walk for our miniature dachshund we get back on the interstate and boogie toward the coast to see the ocean before crossing into Georgia. Arriving at Hilton Head Island we got Sunshine out onto the sand and sea foam for her very first time. 

With sand on our feet and wind at our back we sailed through Georgia in just a couple hours. We quickly arrive in Jacksonville, FL after crossing the border to pick up our dinner from True food kitchen and check into the Hyatt place Jacksonville. Another clean comfortable pet friendly hotel for the three of us to finish out travel day 2.
